I heard that Runaways got cancelled. That sucks, doesn't it?

While Runaways did get canned due to low sales, the digest came out and sold like hell. Marvel decided to bring the series back starting back at #1. Runaways Season 2 hits stands starting February. 16th

Second season? What was the first season then?

The first season started in 03 and ran until August of 04. There are 18 issues.

Marvel has it listed that Season 2 is a mini series, didn't you say it was coming back as a series?

Season 2 has been guaranteed for the first 12 issues. Not sure why some places have it listed like that, but straight from BKV's mouth Season 2 is an ongoing and he hopes to keep it going until issue 500.

I just got into the series; where can I find issues 1-18?

Pick up the digests. There are three of them, each with six issues. All three contain the entire run of Runaways season 1. You can find them in most comic shops or book stores such as Borders. You can also find them online on Amazon.The ISBN numbers are as follows:
Volume 1 (Pride & Joy) 0-7851-1379-7

I noticed there is some information on your site that isn't found in the Runaways comic books, nor in any interview I've seen BKV do. Are you making this stuff up?

Nope, I want this site to only have canon information. I've had the pleasure of meeting Brian when he did a signing to launch his comic Ex Machina and for the Election Party. All information that is on this site that you can't find anywhere else is from meeting him. Considering it came from the writer's mouth, we can assume it's canon.

Is it true that Karolina is gay?

According to Brian, she's confused. She's got a crush on Nico, but she's not sure if that could be due to the fact that she's an alien. Maybe all aliens in her race are gay until they hit 18, and so forth

Well, that's interesting. Does/Could Nico return those feelings?

So in other words, you want to know if Nico is gay/bi? We have yet to get any canon information that she could swing that way, and if you ever read any other books by Brian, there seems to always be at least one lesbian character who has feelings for someone who doesn't share them back.

Can you pass my fanfic onto Brian to see what he thinks of it?

Well, Brian can't read fanfic that could happen because people might claim he stole their ideas and sue. But, Brian more than encourages people to write fanfic that could never take place in canon Runaways (ie- stuff would never happen, cross overs, and x-rated fic). If those kinds of fanfics arrive in my in box, it's all for the better.

Did you say x-rated? As like, sex stuff?

Yup. Even better if it's funny sexfics. But please, no bestiality. I really don't want to have to read any stories involving Old Lace and someone. EVER. Go nuts, guys, but not too nuts.
